If you value your privacy, love expansive views, whale-watching, pelican fly-bys, full sky sunsets and unparalleled stargazing, then you’ll probably wish this property, with its 360 feet of beachfront, were yours. The point on which this 3-bed, 3.5-bath home sits is surrounded by a rocky shore that is infinitely more interesting to look at than a plain sandy edge would be. The rock outcroppings break up the surf, reduce the effect of storm surges and provide perches for hundreds of birds. While set close to the ocean’s edge, the house is perched high enough so beach walkers cannot see into the living space. Watching the surf break is entertaining in and of itself but the location also offers up-close views of surfers riding the wave at Troncones Point. In total, the property encompasses 3,800 square meters, almost an acre, which is nearly four times the size of a standard beachfront lot in Troncones. Beautiful cobbled pathways connect the main house, pool/lounge bar area, stand-alone bungalow, large bodega and laundry room, barbecue and beehive oven, parking area, and the gates leading to the beach. The antique doors to the main house open to the magnificent view enjoyed by all parts of the great room. The spacious built-in lounge area is to the left and to the right is the dining area in front of the partially open-air kitchen. The kitchen has double sinks, stove, fridge, generous cupboards and a walk-in pantry. A gorgeous parota wood bar is the finishing touch. Out front is a patio with the best views in Troncones. On the south side of the great room, the master suite boasts a lovely walk-through closet area with space enough to warm a woman’s heart. The king-sized bed is situated to enjoy the bounteous view. There is a step down to the lounge area with a curved built-in couch. A generous desk/vanity area is against one wall. Double sets of sliding doors lead out to the covered patio and hammock in front. The views are amazing from everywhere. Off of the bedroom is a cool curved bathroom that is open air from shoulder height up to the palapa roof and woven ceiling below. The softly curved counters and cabinet doors are pleasing to the eye. There is an office behind the master bedroom that can double as a small extra bedroom. This pleasant space has great light, many shelves and a built-in single bed. Next door to it in the hallway leading to the great room is a handy powder room. A wide covered hallway behind the kitchen leads to another high ceilinged air-conditioned king-sized bedroom with a walk-in closet and lots of storage space. The en suite bathroom has two sinks and an airy shower. There are spectacular ocean views from the bed. As in all the bedrooms, there are two sets of sliding doors, the outside set are glassed and the inside set are louvered. A short stroll down a cobbled pathway takes you to the beautiful swimming pool with its rock features and fountain. The pool and lounge area is well situated between the main house and the bungalow with its own awesome views of the rocky shore and ocean beyond. There is a pretty curved tiled bar with a sink and drinks cooler under a high palapa roof. The stand-alone bungalow, with more incredible views, has a huge covered patio in front. To one side is an open-air kitchen complete with stovetop, fridge, tiled counters, cabinets and shelves. There is a built-in couch in the lounging area. Another set of sliding doors lead inside to the king-sized bed, closet and lots of shelves. The large bathroom is soft yellow with lots of pebble details and a covered but open air shower. The whole bungalow has very high ceilings. The woodwork throughout the whole home is simply beautiful. Many of the floors are unpolished marble. There are high ceilings above and pebble details below and around the edges. All of the bedrooms and the office are air-conditioned. The property is very spacious with all kinds of room for additional construction, were it desired. The landscaping is mature and includes many interesting varieties of agaves, cacti, palms and other trees. Some of the bougainvillea on the property has been trained into trees of tropical splendor. There is a large parking area inside the entry gate along with two carports. One is covered with a tile roof, trimmed in palapa fronds. The other palapa-roofed carport is a drive-through with a second generous parking area on the far side. From the property it is but a short walk to the sandy beach of Mazanillo Bay which is great for water sports and nice restaurants. This unique, beautiful home and property, hands-down the nicest in Troncones, is being sold fully furnished. Offered at $1,500,000 USD.
