This lovely villa sits at the center of Manzanillo Bay, known as the gold coast of Troncones. The villa is a mere 20 steps from the ocean. It has two air-conditioned king bedrooms, each with a private bath.  The beach is sandy and you can swim, surf and snorkel right in front of the villa. Manzanillo Bay is in fact famous for its left surf break. The villa is situated on a spacious lot surrounded by stone privacy walls. The lot is shaded in part by tall manzanillo trees for which the bay is named. A paved pathway curves through a lawn and garden to a tile- roofed patio and the beautiful double door entrance. Inside you’ll find fabulous tropical furnishings, great art and canopy beds. Everything in the home reflects top quality craftsmanship. The full kitchen includes beautifully crafted thick pine cupboards and drawers. The thick parota wood doors are about 8 foot tall and some are a meter wide. There is a long smooth polished cement bar that is separated from the kitchen by panels of “crusado” or woven wood that open accordion style.  The panels are 5 feet tall.  There are wraparound living and verandah areas, two big sectional sofas and a mesquite dining table that can seat ten. The high tiled-roof overhang is angled to provide plenty of shade.  In front there is a jasmine hedge that enhances the home’s privacy without impeding the beach and bay views from within.  There are two private beach palapas to enjoy in front on the sand. The downstairs bedroom runs the length of the house and has two built-in beds, one king and one single along with a huge antique armoire and two chests of drawers. The en suite bathroom is finished in traditional talavera tiles.  The upstairs bedroom has a king-sized bed and large sofa. The west-facing window is about 5 feet wide and has great views of Manzanillo Bay and the ocean beyond.  The bathroom here is also done in talavera tiles. On the south side of the home is a large private patio with a covered grilling area at one end. There is lots of room here for chaise lounges, hammocks or additional dining tables. The gardens are beautifully landscaped with a variety of palms and the tropical splendor of bougainvillea, Hawaiian ginger, Bird of Paradise, heliconia, croton, plumeria, jasmine, exhora, and bamboo. The large lot runs to 1275 square meters leaving plenty of space for additional construction, if desired. The beachfront restaurants on the Bay are all within easy barefoot walking distance.  A 10-minute walk north by road will take you to the small village of Majahua. The family-run restaurants in Majahua serve fresh seafood or you can buy fish directly from the fishermen early most mornings.  Throughout the home are some incredible antique furnishings. The owners may be willing to negotiate the sale of some of these treasured pieces when the villa is sold. This property has proven to be an excellent rental at $300 US per night with many return clients. Offered at:  $650,000. USD
